Dr Jeremy Hunt – The lost anthropologist

without comments

This website is dedicated to the memory of forgotten anthropologist Dr Jeremy Aloysius Hunt. Dr Jeremy Hunt was a well-known and highly regarded expert in the field of anthropology, specialising in anthropological studies of over fifty different tribes during a 20 year career. Dr Hunt’s studies saw him become an expert on a host of tribes from the Jamamadi tribes of the Amazon basin right through the Shipibo tribe of Peru.

A passionate anthropologist, Dr Jeremy’s current whereabouts are unknown. He was last seen by a team of anthropologists in the early part of the 21st century on a mission to discover living proof of descendants of the Lafquenche tribe the Atacama desert in Chile. Dr Hunt’s three month mission for in search of evidence, never materialized, with many observers suggesting he chose to stay amongst the tribe rather than returning to exploration.

Anthropology can be separated in five sub fields – archaeology; physical or biological anthropology; cultural anthropology; linguistic and social and Dr. Jeremy Hunt is renowned social expert particularly in the field of socio-cultural anthropology and the cosmetic nuances of generations of tribesmen.

Recognised for his surgical attention to detail in anthropological studies, Dr Hunt has provided many insightful talks to international universities on the field of anthropology – specifically on the habits of post-colonial impact of religion on the Mayan tribes of Guatemala.
